Infusion Design (1997–2001)
I began with Infusion as an intern in 1997—working out of the owner’s attic on Lear Jet paint schemes and logos for aerospace startups. Within four years, the company out grew three studios, we had over 10 employees, and millions in revenue.
Highlights:
In 2001, I transitioned from Infusion to launch Oertel Design, Inc.
Document Notes:
While at Marketing Alliance, I produced this animation to showcase our 3D modeling and rendering skills—illustrating Eaton’s heat exchanger and reservoir components on this helicopter model.
At Marketing Alliance, we produced this animation to showcase a homing device used in Sidewinder missiles—engineered and fabricated in the U.S.A. Drawing on my industrial design background, I treated the project as more than visualization—it was about communicating form, function, and precision. The result combined technical accuracy with visual storytelling, showing our ability to make complex technology clear and engaging.
