Infusion Design

DOING WHAT IT TAKES

My time at Infusion began in 1997 as an intern and transitioned into a real design job. Before getting an office, the owner and I working from his attic, drawing paint schemes for Lear Jets and designing logos as he worked to secure a contract with Galaxy Aerospace out of Fort Worth, TX . Three studio locations later, we built the company to over 10 employees and millions in annual revenue when I left in 2001.

Together, we provided cutting-edge interiors in the business jet market and I picked up these valuable skills:

  • Worked with global manufacturers to source parts, materials, and other resources
  • Workflow experience included interior design concept, refinement, mock-up, and sometimes a final kit for production!
  • AutoCad, Solid Works, 3ds Max, Excel, and Adobe Products
  • Clients included Galaxy Aerospace, Rockwell Collins, Embraer, Adams Aircraft, Ranger Boats, Eagle Creek, Brandworks, and Walmart

My aircraft experience with Infusion lasted through until 2001 when I opened Oertel Design, Inc.

  • Our team prepared these documents to provide a general description of the standard interior features that we designed for the Embraer Legacy.
  • The Embraer Legacy standard configuration allowed for a maximum of a ten-passenger compliance.
  • The optional guide provides information regarding the alternate interior features including double clubs, a forward lav, a credenza, etc.
  • These were early iterations and NOT the final documents.
